Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu seminar in North Wales this past weekend. I spend two days teaching a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu seminar in North Wales or more precisely in Rhyl at the North Coast right at the Irish Bay at the North Wales Martial Arts Center. The first day of the seminar was focused on basic escapes from the side-control into closed guard, butterfly guard and open guard. Then on Sunday the second day of the seminar we focused on basic guard passing giving three different options depending on the size, strenght and flexibility of my opponent.
Besides the seminar I also spend the weekend checking out some small and really cool villages in North Wales like Menai Bridge with the worlds first modern suspension bridge. I also went to Conwy to take a closer look at Conwy Castle build by Edward I in 1283.
I really enjoy visiting North Wales and we already booked my next trip from 7th to 19th of May. I will be teaching seminars on the 10th and 11th of May and also on the 17th and 18th of May. During the week I will be teaching the regular classes at North Wales Martial Arts Center and I will be available for private classes during both weekends and during the normal week days also. For more information you can contact me here on the mmpbjj.dk website, on facebook or using my email address.
Thanks a lot to Gaz and Claire and all the guys and girls who showed up. I hope you enjoyed the seminar as much as I did and my positive and keep it playful approach to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. 🙂
Here’s some pictures from day two of the seminar.
